Monster spray is a pleasant and distinctive novelty fragrance that is liked by both children and parents. It uses a pump-action atomiser spray and not a pressurised aerosol to create a fine mist.
It acts as a placebo or a psychological prop to alleviate the night time fears during the phase that many children endure as they grow up. Most children’s nightmares are simply a short term phase they go through that has been triggered through a media such as the television. As children become older and more able to rationalise reality they are no longer afraid of the object that terrified them before.
The label has been carefully constructed to depict an angel spraying a mist of light and goodness in the direction of the monsters. The monsters are shown cowering and running away from the spray.
If your child is suffering nightmares, by saying their particular monster is afraid of the spray and cannot return to the room once it's been sprayed: should reassure the child that it's safe to go to sleep.
Simply spray into the area of terror at bedtime or use to alleviate fear during the night (see ‘How to use’ section for full instructions).
Please Note: Research shows that using your own home made label on an ordinary spray bottle may work for some children. However during our research a high proportion of children became suspicious of home made bottles and the effect could be spoilt and significantly more difficult to endorse later.
